Varanasi, September 15, 2025: The Rajarshi School of Management and Technology (RSMT), Varanasi, inaugurated its MBA/MCA Induction Program – Abhinandanam 2025 on Monday with a day-long ceremony at the institute’s seminar hall. The program began with the registration of new students and distribution of induction kits.
Prof. Aman Gupta, Acting Director, welcomed the fresh batch and expressed gratitude to the distinguished guests. He said the Induction Program is not merely a formality but a platform to instill discipline, values, and inspiration among students. He urged them to embrace honesty, curiosity, and hard work while adopting moral values in their professional and personal lives.
P.N. Singh, Assistant Professor, outlined the MBA and MCA curricula, highlighting academic programs, co-curricular activities, and industry-focused training. He assured that RSMT aims to groom students as both competent professionals and responsible citizens.
The highlight of the program was the keynote address by Prof. Wangchuk Dorje Negi, Vice Chancellor, Central Institute of Higher Tibetan Studies, Sarnath. Drawing from the teachings of Lord Buddha, he stressed that true knowledge leads to liberation. He explained that education should not be confined to information but must nurture wisdom and discernment. Prof. Negi underlined the need for human values, saying peace can be attained by overcoming desire, anger, and greed. He also emphasized the spirit of Nation First, urging students to place the nation above company, family, and personal interests.
Padma Shri Chandrashekhar Singh, Agriculture Expert, highlighted the importance of natural farming and sustainable development, stating that real success lies in balancing health, education, and values.
Devendra Kumar, General Manager – Sales & Marketing, Coca-Cola (Varanasi Division), encouraged students to integrate theoretical learning with practical experience, advising them to begin hands-on learning from the very first day.
Dr. Ramesh Pratap Singh, Principal, Uday Pratap Inter College, emphasized discipline and moral values, urging students to draw inspiration from the life of Pujya Rajarshi Ji.
The program was coordinated by Dr. Preeti Nair, while Dr. Garima Anand conducted the stage proceedings. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Professor, Department of Computer Science.
Faculty members, staff, and students were present in large numbers, marking the successful beginning of the academic journey for the new batch.
