1999-RSMT was established in U.P College campus for imparting professional education (MBA / MCA).
2000-As a part of infrastructural development a new academic building was constructed. BBA & BCA Programs started.
2002- RSMT has been the Nodal Centre for the management institutes of this region affiliated to G.B.Technical University & is continually performing its tasks flawlessly.

2004-A journal from this institute , "Aatmbodh"-a biannual journal of Management and Technology is being published since 2004 onwards covers a wide range of current and contemporary issues. It has evoked appreciation from many stalwarts of corporate and academic world.
2005-Intake capacity for BBA / BCA courses increased from 90 to 120.
2012-RSMT launched a new and unique curriculum in the year 2012 which includes an extensive study of Cross-Cultural Management not found elsewhere in the region.
