RSMT Organises MBA & MCA Induction Programme ‘Abhinandanam–2026’

Varanasi: Rajarshi School of Management and Technology (RSMT), located on the U. P. College campus, organised ‘Abhinandanam–2026’, an induction programme for the newly admitted students of the MBA and MCA programmes, in an enthusiastic and welcoming atmosphere.

The programme commenced with a welcome address by Prof. Aman Gupta, Director-in-Charge, RSMT. Extending a warm welcome to the distinguished guests and newly admitted MBA and MCA students, he provided an overview of the institute's academic programmes, educational activities, and the various opportunities available for the holistic development of students.

The Chief Guest, Prof. Manish Kumar Singh, Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics, UP College, addressed the students and emphasised that in today's competitive environment, merely obtaining a degree is not sufficient; developing skills in accordance with industry requirements is equally essential. He advised the students to focus particularly on the three key dimensions of “Skill, Scale and Speed” to achieve success in their professional journeys.

The Guest of Honour, Dr. Ramesh Pratap Singh of Uday Pratap Inter College, spoke about the glorious traditions and rich legacy of UP College. Introducing the students to the institution's disciplined work culture, he highlighted the vital role of discipline in shaping a successful life and career.

The induction programme provided an inspiring platform for the newly admitted students to familiarise themselves with the academic environment, institutional values, and opportunities that await them at RSMT. ‘Abhinandanam–2026’ marked a positive and motivating beginning to their academic journey.

 

 

DAY 2 – 27 August 2026

Abhinandanam–2026 Focuses on Wellness and Team Building

Varanasi: Continuing the spirit of Abhinandanam–2026, the MBA and MCA Induction Programme at Rajarshi School of Management & Technology (RSMT) moved beyond conventional classroom learning by focusing on physical well-being, team spirit and student engagement.

The day began with a session on “Yoga for Daily Life”, conducted by Mr. Arun Singh, Yoga Trainer. The session highlighted the importance of maintaining physical and mental well-being while managing the demands of student and professional life.

Students actively participated in the session and explored the role of yoga and healthy daily practices in maintaining balance, concentration and overall well-being.

The programme then progressed towards interactive activities designed to encourage participation and strengthen interpersonal bonding among the newly inducted MBA and MCA students.

The day's activities reflected the broader objective of Abhinandanam–2026—to create an environment where students can learn not only through academic sessions but also through experiences that promote confidence, collaboration and personal growth.

With the successful completion of another day, the induction programme continued to build momentum towards its upcoming sessions on values, professional awareness and industry interaction.


DAY 3 – 29 August 2026

Human Values and Ethics Take Centre Stage at Abhinandanam–2026

Varanasi: The third major phase of Abhinandanam–2026, the MBA and MCA Induction Programme at RSMT, focused on one of the most important foundations of professional life—Human Values and Ethics.

The session was conducted by Dr. C.P. Singh, Associate Professor, RSMT, who engaged students in discussions on the significance of ethical conduct, responsible decision-making and human values in personal as well as professional life.

The session encouraged students to look beyond technical and managerial competencies and understand the importance of integrity, responsibility and ethical behaviour in building sustainable careers.

The interactive nature of the programme provided students an opportunity to reflect upon the responsibilities that accompany professional success.

The induction programme is progressively exposing students to diverse dimensions of management and technology education, combining academic orientation with practical and value-based learning.

The day further strengthened the central message of Abhinandanam–2026: professional excellence becomes meaningful when it is supported by strong values and responsible conduct.


DAY 4 – 31 August 2026

Business Quiz Adds Competitive Spirit to Abhinandanam–2026

Varanasi: The ongoing Abhinandanam–2026 induction programme at Rajarshi School of Management & Technology witnessed an energetic and engaging session with the organisation of a Biz Quiz for newly inducted MBA and MCA students.

The quiz provided students with an opportunity to test and apply their awareness of the business world in an interactive environment. The activity encouraged quick thinking, teamwork, competitiveness and knowledge sharing among participants.

The engaging format created an enthusiastic atmosphere on the campus and allowed students to interact with one another beyond the conventional classroom setting.

Such activities form an important part of the induction programme, enabling students to develop communication, analytical thinking and collaborative skills while becoming familiar with contemporary business concepts.

As Abhinandanam–2026 approached its concluding phase, students had already experienced a diverse range of activities covering wellness, human values, professional awareness and interactive learning.

The programme continued to prepare students for the next stage of their academic journey at RSMT.


DAY 5 – 1 September 2026

Industry, Innovation and Career Awareness Enrich Abhinandanam–2026

Varanasi: The penultimate phase of Abhinandanam–2026 at RSMT brought students closer to the world of industry, innovation and professional opportunities through a series of insightful sessions.

A key highlight was the session “Connect with Corporate,” featuring industry professionals from Prism Cement, including Mr. Varun Upadhyay, ZSM, Mr. Amit Mishra, RTM, and Mr. Sanjeev Singh, Regional Manager, Varanasi. The interaction provided students with an opportunity to understand corporate expectations and the realities of professional life.

Students also participated in sessions on Digital Marketing, conducted by Ms. Urja Seth, and Basic Financial Awareness for Youth, conducted by Mr. Deepak Kumar, SEBI SMART Trainer. These sessions introduced students to important contemporary areas relevant to their future careers.

The programme also featured a visit to the Atal Incubation Centre, BHU, where students were exposed to the innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. The visit provided an experiential dimension to the induction programme and encouraged students to think about innovation, entrepreneurship and emerging opportunities.

Another important session focused on AI Tools for Daily Life, conducted by Mr. Sanjeev K. Singh, IBM, helping students understand the growing relevance of artificial intelligence in everyday and professional activities.

The day's activities successfully connected classroom learning with industry exposure, technology, finance, marketing and entrepreneurship.


DAY 6 – 2 September 2026

Abhinandanam–2026 Concludes with Learning, Reflection and Inspiration

Varanasi: The MBA and MCA Induction Programme “Abhinandanam–2026” at Rajarshi School of Management & Technology (RSMT) culminated with a valedictory session, bringing together students, faculty members and distinguished guests to reflect upon the learning journey of the induction programme.

The valedictory session provided an opportunity to reflect on the diverse experiences offered to students throughout the induction programme. From wellness and human values to business activities, corporate interaction, digital marketing, financial awareness, artificial intelligence and innovation, the programme offered students exposure to multiple dimensions of academic and professional development.

An important feature of the programme was the emphasis on learning beyond the classroom. Students interacted with industry professionals, alumni and experts, participated in engaging activities and explored the changing requirements of the professional world.

The concluding session marked not merely the end of the induction programme but the beginning of a new academic and professional journey for the newly inducted MBA and MCA students.
