**Inauguration of the MBA and MCA Orientation Program at RSMT**

The formal inauguration of the seven-day orientation program for MBA and MCA students at Rajarshi School of Management and Technology (RSMT) took place on Thursday. The chief guest, Professor H.P. Mathur, former Dean of the Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, encouraged the new students to focus on developing communication skills, teamwork, leadership abilities, and problem-solving skills. He emphasized that these skills are crucial not only in their academic life but also in their professional careers.
Professor Mathur advised the students to keep an open mind and be prepared to face new challenges. He mentioned that such skill development would enable them to improve their teamwork and take on leadership roles.
Honored guest, Professor Manas Pandey, Head of the Management Studies Faculty at Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, stressed the importance of promoting human values alongside education and their practice. He stated that the purpose of education is not merely to accumulate knowledge but also to make students aware of their moral and social responsibilities.
Professor Pandey noted that human values play a significant role in maintaining harmony and completeness in society.
Mr. Ankur Chadha (From Dainik Jagran) suggested that students make proper use of social media, blogs, and other digital platforms to share their thoughts and ideas while staying updated with important news and information. He added that these skills would assist not only in personal development but also play a vital role in their careers. Dr. Nisha Tripathi, Vice Principal of Rani Murar Kumari Girls Inter College, mentioned that management is a crucial field of study in today’s environment, enabling students to establish their place in the business world.
Welcoming the guests and new students at the inaugural session, the Director of the institution, Prof. Aman Gupta, said that everyone has reached an important turning point in their lives. Now is the time to clearly define their goals and work diligently to achieve them. Prof. Gupta inspired the students by stating that success requires not just knowledge but also hard work and determination. He also highlighted the necessity of being prepared to face challenges in this new chapter, assuring that the institution would support them every step of the way.
The program was conducted by Dr. Garima Anand, who facilitated the entire session effectively and smoothly. The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Vinita Kalra, expressing gratitude to the guests and all attendees. The teacher introduction session was managed by Dr. S.K. Singh, P.N. Singh, Dr. Preeti Nair, and Anurag Singh, who introduced the faculty and shared their areas of expertise. All faculty and staff were present on this occasion.
